Easter Sunrise Service, co-sponsored by The Flower Mound Foundation, Summit Club, and Women of Flower Mound, will be held on top of The Flower Mound on Sunday, April 5th. This year the service will be provided by Trinity Presbyterian Church, and it will start at 6:45am.
Easter Sunrise Service, co-sponsored by The Flower Mound Foundation, Summit Club, and Women of Flower Mound, will be held on top of The Flower Mound on Sunday, April 5th. This year the service will be provided by Trinity Presbyterian Church, and it will start at 6:45am.We recommend you arrive by 6:15am to allow time to park and walk to the top of The Mound. The Women of Flower Mound will serve coffee and doughnuts as you arrive.
Remember, as a natural prairie, ground will be uneven, the route to the top is a dirt trail, and grasses may be tall. The service will take place just a month following a prescribed burn, so expect a bit of ash or soot, but enjoy the new life emerging from the ashes! We suggest you save your Sunday best for later in the day and come dressed casually, with comfortable walking shoes (no high heels). You may want to bring a blanket or chairs to sit on.
